Michael O. Crow, 63, of Mount Carmel, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 1, 2017, at his residence. He was born on Sept. 19, 1953, in Wabash County, the son of Warren and Jessie (Woods) Crow.

Mike’s greatest love was spending time with his grandson, Mason. On Mason’s visits over the summer and on weekends, they could be found boating on the Wabash River, spending time with family and making special memories together. Mike also enjoyed traveling and he loved to visit California.

Mike will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him. Mike was a very hard worker where he worked several years at Dowell in Mount Carmel and also at Sugar Mill Apartments in Evansville, Indiana, as a maintenance supervisor. He made many friendships throughout his working career.

Mike will be remembered by his son, Michael W. Crow of Evansville, Indiana; mother, Jessie Crow of Mount Carmel; grandson, Mason Crow of Evansville; granddaughter, Tahliah Crow of Evansville; sisters, Sharon Odom of Mount Carmel, Brenda (Dennis) Seessengood of Olney, and Pam (Dan) Peach of Mount Carmel; many loved nieces and nephews; and dear friend, Jim Whitten. Mike was preceded in death by his father and niece, Kerri Lee Peach.

A Celebration of Mike’s life will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, June 11, 2017, at the VFW, 101 S. Market St., Mount Carmel, IL 62863.
