Julie Majors, 48, of Mount Carmel, passed away on Friday, Dec. 23, 2016, at Deaconess Hospital Main Campus in Evansville, Indiana, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on Oct. 9, 1968, in Wabash County, the daughter of Homer and D’Ella (Meyer) Majors.

Julie will always be remembered for her good sense of humor and making others laugh. She treasured her time that she was able to spend with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be missed by her family and all who knew her.

Julie will be remembered by her parents, Homer and D’Ella Majors of Mount Carmel; son, Josh (Jackie) Simpson of Fairfield; daughters, Alisha (Robert Williams) Shoultz of Mount Carmel, D’Ella (Bradley) Lloyd of Mount Carmel, and Charlene (Shawn Crane) Read of Olney; ten grandchildren; brothers, Ernie Majors, Robert Majors, John Majors and Les Majors; sisters, Cathy Dooley and Linda Compton; and many loved cousins, nieces and nephews.

Julie was preceded in death by her brother, Phillip Majors.

In keeping with Julie’s wishes she was cremated. A graveside service to honor the life of Julie Majors will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 15, 2017, at Hallock Cemetery in Wabash County.
