Jack Hipsher, 62, formerly of Allendale, Illinois, passed away Friday, Jan. 27, 2017, at Bellefountaine Gardens Nursing & Rehab in St. Louis.

He was born Friday, Nov. 28, 1954, to Willard and Inez (Thompson) Hipsher.

Jack was a member of Wabash Presbyterian Church of Orio. He was a graduate of Allendale High School Class of 1972.

Left to cherish his memories are his sisters Mary Louise Story of Fredericksburg, Virginia, and Connie (Phil) Walters of Clinton, Indiana; brothers Roy (Deanna) Hipsher of St. Francisville, Jesse (Sue) Hipsher of Bartlett, Tennessee, and Scott (Debbie) Hipsher of Allendale; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death are his parents; brother, Will Hipsher; and sisters Jessica Hipsher and Gretchen Hawf.

A private family service will be held with burial in Allendale Cemetery.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Hospice of Belle Fontaine, St. Louis, Missouri. Envelopes will be available at Short Funeral Home, 527 N. Mulberry St., Mount Carmel, Illinois.
