Betty A. Landingham, 79, of Grayville, died Thursday, June 1, 2017, at her home.

She was born June 4, 1937, in White County, Illinois, the daughter of Jesse and Lillian (Weller) Rudisill. She married Robert M. Landingham on July 8, 1952, and he survives.

Betty was a homemaker and a member of Ridge Baptist Church and she served 36 years as a Sunday school teacher at Grace Memorial Baptist Church in Mount Carmel. She was a seamstress and enjoyed quilting and baby sitting.

Survivors include husband Robert Landingham of Grayville; sons Kenneth Louis (Cathy) Landingham of Grayville, and Jeffrey (Judy) Landingham of Mount Carmel; daughter Beth (Ben) Landingham-Fox of Los Angeles, California; brothers Wayne (Lora Mae) Rudisill of Grayville and Jerry Rudisill of Knox, Indiana; sister Verna Robbins of Grayville; grandchildren Eli (Melanie) Landingham, Hannah (Luke) Shelby, Emily (Josh) Howard, Tracy (John) Swanson; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and daughter Julie Ann Landingham.

Visitation is 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at Cook Funeral Chapel in Grayville. Funeral is 10 a.m., Thursday, June 8, 2017, at Cook Funeral Chapel with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery in Grayville.

Memorials may be made to Baptist Children’s Home and will be accepted at Cook Funeral Chapel.
