HEY, HEY, HEY — I TOLD YOU THE LAST TIME THE CORN WOULD BE READY IN TWO WEEKS.

BINGO, IT WILL BE COMING DOWN. The beans are getting ready along with the corn.

The farmers will be busy for the next few weeks. The farmers have been very lucky with the planting season and the growing season.. Rain just when you needed and dry sunny weather right on que. Next the farmers will hit pay dirt. I wish you all good luck during the harvest season.

Well folks another start of school. Students in the class room. I hope everything will work out from now on. The students from what I understand will receive free breakfast and free lunch through the end of the 2020.

You know this will be one year the students and the parents will always remember. One thing I am glad for is the students get to play baseball and have Cross — Country meets. Hey they are outside participating in exercising. This keeps them healthy. Thank you to the coaches who take the time to work with these students.

CLAYTON SEATON — — I HOPE YOU ENJOYED YOUR BIRTHDAY THIS PAST SUNDAY WITH YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS.

Folks, if you like Country Music and Barbecue come to Mt. Carmel on the 19th of September to listen to Loretta Lynn’s granddaughter. ROOTS AND QUE WILL BE HAVING THEIR FALL FESTIVAL ON THIS DAY. If you are not doing anything come listen to good music and have good food. Hey you might even meet some new people. It should be a good weekend.

The regular baseball season is just about coming to a close. Then they will have Post season play — in other words, most teams will get another shot at winning the world series. If you are tired of the Basketball and the Baseball — Football season was started tonight So, folks you have choices. I tell you this COVID-19 has played havoc! You do the best you can to stay healthy.

I have learned one thing teaching at Wabash Valley College this semester, it is a challenge to have thirty-five students six feet apart with MAKS on in the band room — IT IS A CHALLENGE.

I hope everyone in Allendale and Wabash County is doing the basics of WASHING THE HANDS AND WEARING THE MASKS AROUND SMALL GROUPS.
