Kight set to sign NLI on Wednesday

MOUNT CARMEL, Ill. -- Mount Carmel senior Blake Kight is set to sign his National Letter of Intent to play football for Missouri Baptist University in St. Louis on Wednesday (Feb. 6).

MBU, an NAIA affiliate football program that was founded in 2014, finished 4-7 last season in their fifth season as a program.

Kight played linebacker and running back for the Aces this past season and battled through an elbow injury toward the end of his senior campaign.

The signing is set to take place at 4 p.m. in the lobby of Mount Carmel High School. The community is welcome to attend the signing.
