OLNEY -- Mount Carmel sophomore pitcher Faith Fuller took the mound for the Lady Aces and pitched a dominant outing.

Fuller threw a complete game shutout, allowing just two hits and fanning four Richland County batters while she overwhelmed the Lady Tigers (6-7) in Mount Carmel's 7-0 victory on Tuesday night in Olney.

In addition to Fuller's excellence on the mound, Mount Carmel's hitters played great. Freshman Kami Pearson posted a 2-for-3 line with an RBI, freshman Mackenzie Sisson was 1-for-2 with a pair of walks, a run and a stolen base, freshman shortstop Stormie Devine went 1-for-3 with a triple, two runs and a pair of RBIs, Fuller added to her own cause with a 1-for-3 line, scoring two runs and adding two RBIs, sophomore Sierra Hannah went 1-for-3 at the dish with a double and an RBI and lastly, junior Lexi Ballard was 1-for-3 with a double and scored two runs.

Following the varsity game, the JV Lady Aces won as well, defeating Richland County 20-3.

Next up, Mount Carmel (4-2) will return home for a game at 4:30 p.m. against Hamilton County (8-3) today.
