MOUNT CARMEL — Zachary R. “Zach” Watters, 29, of Mount Carmel passed away Saturday, June17, 2017 at his residence. He was born July 12, 1987 in Springfield, the son of Rick Watters and Lisa (List) Fisher.

Zach began his working career at the age of 13. He became a Master Pizza Maker working at Little Italy’s Pizza for his aunt and uncle, Jessie and Kevin List. He attended Sullivan Culinary School. He was known as a dependable hard worker and always ready to help. Zach deeply loved his family. His nieces and nephews lovingly referred to him as “Uncle Buck”. Zach was a huge Green Bay Packers fan. In his free time he enjoyed fishing, reading and going to the movies. The Star Wars and Bat Man movies were among his favorites. Zach had many friends and was well known as being a very nice guy, always willing to help with a smile. He attended Heartland Worship Center. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Zach will be lovingly remembered by his mother and step-father, Lisa and Dale Fisher; father, Rick Watters; grandmother, Shirley Fisher; brothers, Alex (Maggie) Fisher, Dustin (DesiRae Goodwin) Fisher, Eric (Rachel) Fisher; nieces, Dani, Dee Dee, Pristine, PaisLeigh Fisher and baby Vivianne on the way; nephews, Elijah and Titus Fisher; several aunts, uncles and cousins; girlfriend, Brooke Perez.

Zach was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents and one niece, Desirae Fisher.

Family and friends are invited to gather from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m., Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Heartland Worship Center.

A Celebration of Life will follow at 12 p.m., Saturday, June 24, 2017 with Pastor Tony Hodgson officiating.
