CHAMPAIGN -- Mary Jennifer Cleary, of Champaign, passed away on Oct. 22, 2018, from cardiac arrest.

Born Sept. 13, 1965, to Richard Patrick and Barbara (Cieslik) Cleary in Chicago. She was the granddaughter of the late Edward and Clara (Trapp) Cleary, former residents of Mount Carmel.

Mary is survived by her brother, Michael Cleary, two nephews, Logan and Connor Cleary all of Chicago, and two aunts and uncle, Anne Cleary, Atlanta, Georgia, and Kathie Cleary (Jack) Ruschmeier of Tampa, Florida and numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Richard, and her four legged loving furry friends, Gracie, Schautzi, and Emmy.

Mary was loved and is missed by her family and many friends. She had a huge giving heart. She was an organ donor thru Gift of Hope, Springfield, giving life with her kidneys. "Choosing to become an eye donor is a compassionate and generous decision-a testament to human kindness in our world today." Her gift provided sight to two people through Eversight, Chicago.

Mass of Christian Burial was officiated by family friend, Rev. Joseph Malczyk CR, Chicago,on Oct. 26, at St. Ferdinand Catholic Church. St. Jude Service was given by the Chicago Police Department.

Internment with her family at Saint Adalbert Cemetery, Niles.
