MOUNT CARMEL — Glenn E. Schrader, 80, of Mount Carmel, Illinois, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on Sunday, Nov. 12, 2017 at River Oaks Health Campus in Princeton, Indiana.

He was born March 28, 1937 in Vincennes, Indiana the son of Frank M. and H. Evangeline (Leek) Schrader. He graduated from St. Francisville High School. Glenn married Mary Katherine Hering on Aug. 8, 1959.

Glenn’s working career was in electronics sales. He attended four years of college at Eastern Illinois University. Glenn was an avid sports fan and a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks. Glenn loved all genres of music. He will be missed by his family and all who knew him.

Glenn will be remembered by his wife of 58 years, Mary Schrader of Mount Carmel; children, Glynnis Fisher of Mesa, Arizona and Karla Schrader of Mount Carmel, Michael (Susan) Schrader of Knoxville, Tennessee; one granddaughter, Melissa Fisher.

Glenn was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial service is at 10 a.m., Friday, Dec. 1, 2017 in the chapel of Keepes Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Richison officiating. A private family burial will follow at St. Sebastian Catholic Cemetery in Wabash County.

Family and friends may gather for a memorial visitation from 9 – 10 a.m., Friday, Dec.1, 2017 in the chapel of Keepes Funeral Home.
