MOUNT CARMEL — Donald Ray Brown, 85, of Mount Carmel, died Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017 at his home.

He was born April 26, 1932 in Wabash County, son of Arthur and Dolly (Alcorn) Brown.

He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a boilermaker. He was a member of the VFW and the Eagles.

Surviving are his children Telisa Brown and Kathy Foote of Mount Carmel and Todd (Patty Ewing) Brown of Grayville; brother, Art (Beverly) Brown of Mount Carmel; sisters, Shirley (Wayne) Schroyer and Lois Clark; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three sons, Donnie Brown, Gil Clark and Kevin Clark; two brothers, Harold Brown and Ron Brown.

No formal service is scheduled. A private family burial is planned at a later date.
