Jason Sturgeon rocked the stage Saturday night capping off this year’s AG Days.
Sturgeon said he enjoys seeing how different communities do festivals, because each community has its own flavor.
“It’s always neat to see,” He said, “It’s nice to see what every town puts on.”
He said his favorite thing about fairs is fair food.
“Fair food is always the best part of it,” Sturgeon said.
Lesley Hipsher, lead coordinator of the Wabash County Chamber of Commerce, suggested he try a lemon shake up from the amber booth.
She said Sturgeon is the perfect fit for AG Days and the community.
He usually plays Southern Indiana and Central Illinois, so it was fortunate that he was able to play AG Days.
“We are thankful to have Jason here tonight,” Hipsher said.
Sturgeon is known for story telling songs like ‘Simple Life.’
He said he writes about “little towns like ours.”
He said that is how he remembers his rural Pike County Indiana.
When asked what’s next, Sturgeon said, “My road keeps on rolling.”
